I really plan to use OpenPnp. It has issues but with the current video pipeline support it has really matured and become usable. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.

There’s talk of moving it from Java to C++. Any other language would suit me better but for now it’s still ok.

If you know of issues with OpenPnp that you can help with — i’m certainly interested and they are probably also interested. They’ve got a google group you can chat with.
